This is a canvas I finished before Christmas but I have only recently got around to taking some photo's. It is quite a lot bigger than the art I usually produce, and a little more abstract too.
I used acrylic, watercolour, gold foil, and some pen on the painting so it's fairly textured in person.
Hope you all like it.

Fact: sometimes when I comment on your blog, I wish I knew a lot about art and could post something more intelligent than, "fabulous."
ReplyDeleteI really do love this piece.

Hi Sydney - Well I guess the style of painting would be impasto, which is basically just paint applied thickly! I don't really know how else I would classify it, maybe slightly abstract? :)
