1. Have my own studio space.
This would be one of my more extravagant choices! I would love to have my own studio to work from, because at the moment everything you see me produce comes from a small sketchbook, laptop, and mouse. Don't get me wrong, I love working digitally but sometimes I miss working on massive landscape pieces and that definitely isn't possible in my small flat! If I never get the chance to work from a studio, a cute little art room would also be amazing. Tying in with this, I think it would be brilliant to invest in some better storage solutions just to try and keep my apartment a little tidier and more organised - I really hate having art materials all over the place.
2. Conquer my fear of flying so I can travel abroad again!
Again, this is an expensive choice. I am genuinely terrified of flying, airports, and just the general stress of travelling abroad. I used to quite enjoy it when I was little, so I don't really know how I've become so scared! Anyway, my boyfriend has lots of family members who live in Australia, and his Mum is currently living in Adelaide so it would be really great if we could ever go and visit. Obviously, this isn't going to happen unless I can pluck up the courage (and money of course!). Does anyone have any tips on how to get over a fear of flying? I think I would rather be sedated throughout the whole thing aha.

I love your choices! I hate travelling, going on an airplane scares the hell out of me as does going on a boat but i need to get over that and go and see people aboard at some point! Good luck!! xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Elle! Yes, they are horrible aren't they aha. Boats make me feel pretty sick too! xxx
DeleteI'm beginning to think we're the same person! I would love a little studio space too, if I was really lucky I would love to set up my own little darkroom so I can process and print my own pictures again, that's the one thing I miss from college! And I'm also terrified of flying, I think it's the thought of knowing you can't get off until it lands once you've taken off. Argh!
ReplyDeleteThank you for nominating me sweet! I'll get thinking and pop up my entry post soon!

Aha! We do have so many things in common! It would be amazing to have your own darkroom; I miss college too because it was nice having so many materials/utensils to use whenever I pleased. Yes! I feel exactly the same way, at least on a train you can get off at the next stop.
DeleteI can't wait to see your list! <3 xxx
I'd love to see the work you could produce if you had your own studio!! Eeep. Dream big C, this can definitely happen if you want it to.
ReplyDeleteAs for flying, I can't imagine how frustrating it must be for you! I wish I could help, do you have a fear of crashing? I don't really think about the fact I'm in a plane, I just sorta relax and go with it. I was scared as a youngster! I'd hold your paw and go with you to Oz. <3
I love baking too, I hope you win!!

Aaw, thank you so much for this comment Tara! I think it's the fear of being trapped inside and not being able to get out, but I have no idea what triggered it off! I also start feeling really sickly just being in the airport, checking in etc - it's weird!
DeleteWah - that's adorable, I'd feel more confident travelling with a seasoned jet-setter such as yourself!
xxx <3
Thank you so much for nominating me Carly, I actually just nominated you for the Liebster Award on my blog ahaha! I really liked your list! I'm really scared of flying aswell I don't know why though...
ReplyDeleteI may do this, I just need to know if I can enter since I'm from Portugal and it's a money prize, but if I cannot enter I'll do a post like this anyway! xxx <3
I saw! I'm going to do it as soon as I get a chance. Thank you so much Marta.
DeleteAh, I didn't think about that! I really hope you can enter. xxx
Oh you poor thing! A friend of mine is araid of flying, she still travels abroad with the help of a sleeping pill to help her sleep on the plane.

Gosh, I think that would be the best idea! I'd rather be fast asleep and unaware of what's going on around me! xxx
DeleteI did my bucket list last week! It's so much fun! I hope you get over your fear of flying soon :)
