I was very excited when Gemma commissioned me to create her new blog header the other week, but so nervous too as I really loved her old one! We wanted to keep the idea of a branch, but we decided on having a couple of magpies instead of just one so it looks like a little family nesting in the cherry blossom tree! Gemma was so sweet to me throughout the whole process, she was very flexible and helpful - I really loved creating this piece for her.
