This is a bit of a practice illustration really as I hardly ever seem to draw buildings or architecture. I've been trawling through Pinterest boards, and I've found loads of these sunny houses with colourful paint and interesting doors and windows. I might make a little series of them if anyone is interested? My boyfriend suggested that I add the little cat walking by and now I think that's my favourite part! I've added this to my Society6 shop and you can buy it as prints or totes.

I've been spending a fair bit of time on Pinterest lately looking for inspiration! I spied a gorgeous photo of some Peruvian girls and their cute little alpacas so I decided to draw them. I know a few of you are alpaca fans so I hope you like this! They are very sweet so I can't imagine anyone not liking them. You can follow me on Pinterest here if you like.

Everyone is buzzing about the A/W shows, but sadly I'm a little behind! I don't want to think about cold, chilly weather anymore anyway. Valentino was probably one of my favourite S/S collections, everything about it was perfect! So luxe and detailed, I could imagine Tara rocking some of these beautiful pieces. The jewellery was amazing too, huge chunky gold chains which complimented the outfits so well (didn't resemble Mr. T style bling either!). Are there any trends you are particularly looking forward to styling this summer?

I decided to read Howl's Moving Castle so that I could take part in the Book Jamboree. The idea is to read a book each month and then illustrate a character/scene or front cover - whatever really! Anyway, Howl's is Februarys book so I thought I'd download it and see what it was all about (I hadn't seen the anime!) and I loved it. It's such a sweet, charming, and magical book which revolves around a character called Sophie who works in a quaint hat shop. Unfortunately a witch curses Sophie and she is transformed into an old lady! She sets out to set things right and encounters Wizard Howl and then all sorts of craziness happens. I actually watched the movie after I had read the book, and I really enjoyed that too although the story is a little different. I'd recommend both!

February's blogger is The Briar Rose! With Valentines Day just around the corner, I thought Megan would be the ideal blogger to draw for the month. I love her beautiful flaming red hair, and romantic style - perfect! I thought she looked really adorable in this outfit, how sweet is her little 'milk' bag? She always manages to find quirky, unique pieces to compliment her outfits.
Now it's time to start thinking about my March blogger!

This is the secret illustration I was working on before Christmas! Tara commissioned me to draw her, and her boyfriend Sam as a special present and this is the finished result. Tara wanted the illustration to be based on a holiday they both shared in Sentosa, Singapore - I tried to capture all of the main elements as there is certainly plenty to do and see there. I was so happy to work on this as Tara is a real sweetie and one of my favourite bloggers of all time! I hope this illustration will always remind them of their amazing holiday.

Here is the next illustration in my Blogger/Animals series. I knew I definitely wanted to draw Kailey because she is such a cool and lovely blogger with sugary hair! I settled on a pink dolphin because who else would a Mermaiden want to hang out with? If you want to find out more about Kailey, catch up with her on her blog or Twitter.
