Introducing: Violet & Ted!


As I mentioned a couple of posts ago, Jennie asked me to work on a special project with her and of course I said absolutely! So basically, Jennie had an idea of these adorable characters which we have now decided to name Violet & Ted, and we hope to base an entire series around them which will hopefully culminate in a children's story book! We decided that they would be siblings, with Violet being the older child who would look out for her little brother, and they would both have cute rabbit pets. I'm guessing you all know that the black rabbit is based on Jennie's own awesome bunny, little Ralphie! However, we still don't have a name for the white hotot rabbit - this is where we need your help! We would love you to submit your suggestions by leaving a comment on this blog post or on Jennie's (or both!) with some name suggestions that you think would suit this rabbit. We will then choose our favourite from all of those submitted and that will become the official name for the hotot. Please do leave your suggestions below as the names seem to be the hardest part!

 Obviously we are still in the very early stages of planning this but we just wanted to introduce the characters to you and get a little feedback. We are hoping to offer some really lovely prints and maybe some stationary based on the children's adventures before we get our little book together. Oh, and if you have any cute & unusual story ideas, we would love to hear those too!

    Awww, great character names and a lovely idea! Your illustrations are so beautiful, they'd be perfect for a story book.

    I'm not very good with names ha. How about Nellie or Ida? ;)

    This is adorable. Children love bunnies and adventures with their siblings. I think the white bunny should be called finley or macy bleu.

    Your illustrations are beautiful! I love the names Aria,Elise,Luna or Eloise.All of these names are a little bit more unique but can still be easily be spoken by young children!
